The Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater and Valley Players present Anton in Show Business by Jane Martin for three performances on May 9, 10 and 11 at 7pm at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater in Yountville. Valley Players will then ‘take the show on the road’ to Bay Area Stage in Vallejo for performances on May 13 at 8pm and May 14th at 2pm.
Jane Martin has produced over ten full length plays, six one-acts, and numerous shorts. She has been nominated for the Pulitzer prize, and won the American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award twice. Yet, she has not made one public appearance. No interviews. No pictures. No sightings. Nothing. She has been called “America’s best known unknown playwright.”
These are the unsung heroes of play production, without whom, no magic would happen!
